The FTC seems to think that you need to know certain things about blogs you read. In the interest of not getting sideways with the government, I’ll provide the following disclosure. Truth be told, I can’t imagine anyone in the federal government is the slightest bit interested in what I write here, but in case you’re curious:
This is a personal blog written and edited by me. If you use my words, give me credit. I probably swiped the jokes from one of my very funny friends, but I’ll still take the credit. It currently has no advertising, sponsorship, or paid insertions. I write for my own purposes, the same reason I knit: to keep from stabbing people. I am influenced by my background, occupation, religion, political affiliation, experience, the weather, my mood, caffeine addiction and general love of cookies.
I am currently not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. For better or worse, the views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely mine. I am an expert on very little. Any claim to know something for certain is just hubris on my part.
This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. If I decide to take compensation, in the form of cold hard cash or trade, that content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content. This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.
For the record, if you want to bribe me with cookies, I can be bought.
