This year has been anything but boring. It’s easy for me to focus on the bad stuff, but there has also been some extraordinarily good stuff too.
I’ve experienced kindness, generosity, grace and love. Much of it I never would have seen if the bad stuff hadn’t happened. There would have been no need to.
This morning at church, the lesson was about hope. It worked. I left feeling more hopeful than I had in a while. So I pause to appreciate the moments of hope and goodness, because there are so many to be grateful for.
